An inspiring trio of mother and two daughters – Bhuvneswari, Mahalakshmi & Rajalakshmi started Ihana Handicraft to showcase their mom’s talent and give a purpose to her life beyond taking care of her family and children.

They try to upcycle and recycle items like paper, paint bottles, empty egg cartons, and coconut shells and mostly use sustainable materials like pottery in their craft. The creations include jewellery with recycled paper, handmade dolls, recycled art, charcoal drawing and other products. They supply handicraft products to the craft shop at the Dakshina Chitra Heritage museum and a few other craft shops in their area.
